A good Looking pair of Vintage oars

In solid timber

A great aged colour and shape

Lovely shaped handle to the top , nicely shaped stem and paddle

I think around 1940’s

For a rowing boat

I know they are not a matching pair but they have been together for a long time

A really nice looking piece that would look superb on a lodge / hotel / pub/ restaurant wall etc

Length 1 at 224 cm 1 at 207 cm

Stem diameter - 5 cm

Head paddle length - 54 cm

Paddle width - 12.5 Cm

Items to note

As with all items of age they may show signs of ware and use but they can also have character that you will not always find in newer pieces

The paddles are in overall fair condition for their age with little ware and just a few small marks here and there but nothing major to note ( see photos )

There is a little damage to the very end of the paddles through ware and use and age etc ( see photo )

Please have a good look at all the photos to get a good idea of overall condition

They are located near Beauly in the Highlands and can be viewed and collected from here or I have a good courier that can deliver anywhere within mainland UK for £ 25
