David Bowie released his twelfth studio album in late 1977, and called it 'Heroes'. The album was the second of the 'Berlin Trilogy', and the first album in the trilogy, called 'Low', was also released in January of '77. (The last of the trilogy, the album 'Lodger', was released in '79.) Bowie moved to Berlin with Iggy Pop, and the two attempted to get off of drugs. They also made great music while receiving treatment!

'Heroes' the album has several awesome songs, but none more so than the title track. The song "Heroes" was recorded in English, German, and even French! In today's great deal, you'll get a vintage 7" picture sleeve single, with ALL THREE versions! This is the 1977 Australian release, backed with the B side track "V-2 Schneider", a song written as a tribute to founding member of Kraftwerk Florian Schneider (who passed away in 2020).

Vinyl looks great, with only a couple of very light surface marks on it. I never played this, as I usually don't play singles, because the vinyl is so fragile. The jacket is open, like a folder, instead of a full sleeve. But both in great shape!

Next up, I'll include the 7" picture sleeve for the single "Fashion", from the 1980 album 'Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)'. It's a great picture sleeve, with a really nice pic of Bowie on the front, and song titles and credits on the back. Vinyl looks awesome, and is shiny and clean. Sleeve is starting to show signs of it's age, with some minor shelf-wear, but still intact and not torn or ripped.

Last 7" picture sleeve in this great deal is the single for "Ashes to Ashes", another great track from 'Scary Monsters'! In a really nice picture sleeve, with Bowie as a futuristic clown, surrounded by what looks like postage stamps! The vinyl itself has many light scratches, which are undoubtedly audible. The sleeve is in really good condition, with very little shelf-wear. The back has the word (or name) 'Piriou' written on it. Oh well, at least 'Piriou' didn't write their name across Bowie's pic on the front!

And we'll end this listing with a special Bowie CD/DVD combo! It's TWENTY classic hits on the CD, beginning with "Space Oddity", and ending with "I'm Afraid of Americans", a song remixed by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails! The DVD is NINE videos of various songs! They are remixes, and a few are repeated with edits and then extended mixes. But since it's Bowie, it's all good. A lot of Bowie, on CD and DVD! Both discs look great, and have only a couple of very light surface marks on them. Nothing bad, at all, or that will affect play. Case looks great.

Bring home some classic and vintage Bowie, before someone beats you to it. We're all still trying to process the loss of David Bowie, definitely one of the most creative and influential rock stars that ever lived! (RIP Ziggy Stardust. Thank you for the legacy of great music that you've left the world. I first saw you as a child in the 70s, on a TV show called the 'Midnight Special'. You performed several songs, and changed costumes each time. You were amazing! And you are missed...)
