For your consideration is a gorgeous five strand 20 inch long beaded Coral necklace Straight From Italy. The necklace was purchased more than two decades ago in Naples. The necklace features five strands of of four to 4.5 mm round beads finished with sterling silver gold plated ends and a beautiful matching coral and Sterling gold plated box clap. The Box clasp is stamped 925 and has the manufacturer's Mark which appears to be a star the number "563" or "565" and the letters "NA" for Napoli. I cannot attribute the necklace to any one coral / silversmith as the numbers are just too hard to read. I have also acid tested to confirm it is silver with a gold plating on top. The beads are strung on a red silk or cotton thread. It weighs nearly 60 grams. The necklace has not been cleaned or polished in order to retain its vintage integrity.
