With one move he kicked the puck away from his pursuers. With another he drew back his stick and slapped a 60-foot shot toward the Detroit goal. The net bulged, the red light behind it lit and Bobby Hull, the best single act in the 1964-1965 hockey season, had scored his 35th goal of the season.

This puck was shot into the stands!  This puck was hit so hard, part of the rubber inset on the back was knocked off!

A true piece of NHL history and an amazing artifact from amazing Chicago Blackhawks games at Chicago Stadium!

Bobby Hull is said to have had his slap shot clocked at 118.3 miles per hour during the 1960s. This was a prominent feature of an article in Popular Mechanics in February of 1968.

GOOD LUCK!
