If your vacuum is getting very hot and cutting out, then it could be that the exhaust filter is blocked and needs to be replaced. The exhaust filter can be found where the air is blown out from the vacuum.

 

Using this sheet and your old filter as a template this sheet can be cut to size.

 

This sheet is 225mm x 202mm

 

Please note this filter is mainly found in bagged vacuums, Baggles vacuums tend to have a different filtration system.
