Antique Early 20th Century Large Ceramic Planter / Jardiniere. Has a lovely band of chinoiserie style lilac & rose flowers on a black spotted background. Fairly sure this is Royal Winton Grimwades & has simply lost it's ink backstamp. Base marked Delphic. Registered no. 608383.

APPROX DIAMETER weight 1.8kg, external diameter 22.5cm, internal diameter 19cm, height 20cm.

CONDITION has hairlines (cross shaped one to exterior of base; triangular one internally to side; another curved one to of interior base). Gilding detail worn. Water staining internally. Occasional paint spatters. All mentioned for completeness, but completely consistent with age.
