This rare fossil bivalve (Cardinia species) that was collected from Conesby Quarry, Scunthorpe, England, many years ago and has been recently prepared and polished by Stone Treasures. It is approx 200 million years old and has a cut base so it displays beautifully. Excellent detail and calcite preservation ! 

Size of specimen is approx 22.2cm x 11.2cm x 5.5cm, with the bivalve itself approx 11.5cm x 5.2cm.
