Victory Medal: 1611 A-SJT H. D. MAIN. M.M. 50-BN. A.I.F.

Military Medal: 1611 CPL H. D. MAIN 50 / AUST : INF : 1917

Full name on Memorial Plaque: Halcro Drummond Main.

All three ribbons are the original, not in best condition. The military Medal has the original ribbon, but it has been, for some reason, dyed a very dark blue and it has worn away where it should support the medal - there is also a small plaque/bar that has been added with more information about Halcro Drummond Main and his death.

The medals seem to have been kept in a damp place for some time and they were completely covered in thick tarnishing. All the tarnishing came off, but the reverse of the Victory Medal shows some staining..There are a few very minor nicks to the edge of the MM and BWM.

There is also an A4 sheet with more information about Halcro Main.
