Offering this highly collectible Mustardseed and Moonshine Originals of South Africa. Lettuce design platter or chop plate. Made of high-fired earthenware having lettuce leaf design with scalloped, undulating edges in shades of green and white with red trim.

Manufacturer size 13” diameter but platter actually measures between 12.5”-12.75”

Platter shows no signs of use and Without any issues or damage noted.

Background

Mustardseed & Moonshine is a company founded by Kate Carlyle in Cape Town, South Africa in 1992 to celebrate her love of the botanical form. The idea was to make beautiful ceramic flowers that were both usable and lasting, flowers that were meticulously crafted, and yet simultaneously robust and functional. Although Mustardseed & Moonshine has grown over the years, it remains a studio of dedicated artists who hand-make all of these delicate flowers from Ramekins to Salad Bowls in high-fired earthenware with love and dedication to bring a truly original piece to you. All this work is dishwasher, oven and microwave proof.
