This item in my EBAY store is a NORTHWOOD AMETHYST CARNIVAL GLASS  "RASPBERRY"  HANDLED MILK PITCHER.   This Northwood cone shaped amethyst "RASPBERRY" milk pitcher is antique glass that I have here is just the way this beauty left the "NORTHWOOD GLASS COMPANY" many years ago, having survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a very beautiful family heirloom piece of glass that is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and no glass staining;   This amethyst color is an extremely dark amethyst, as seen in my photos and is about three quarters the size of a standard water pitcher;   I may also add that this NORTHWOOD "RASPBERRY"  AMETHYST CARNIVAL GLASS HANDLED MILK PITCHER is an early vintage NORTHWOOD antique carnival glass "RASPBERRY" milk pitcher that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition, surely the couple of people who have once owned this American beauty antique piece of glass surely cherrished this "RASPBERRY" milk pitcher according to the condition this "RASPBERRY" milk pitcher remains in today;   This NORTHWOOD "RASPBERRY" milk pitcher that I have here is marked with the "NORTHWOOD" trade mark an "N" in a circle with a line under neath the letter "N" on the inside bottom of this milk pitcher and can be seen in the photos;   I want to mention that this particular "RASPBERRY" milk pitcher that I have here does have the early carnival glass era characteristics of the early carnival glass making process having stress marks, straw marks, and air bubbles sometimes seen inside the glass of early carnival glass as inside the glass of this "RASPBERRY" handled milk pitcher, these characteristics are from the production of this American beauty and is NOT considered damage, all this info that I just mentioned to you is shown in my numerous photos but any questions at all please e-mail me;   Folks I like to photograph my carnival in natural day light, it did not matter what angle or position I photographed the COLOR was always there and that is what carnival glass is all about............COLOR;   This much sought after NORTHWOOD "RASPBERRY" pattern can be seen & talked about in one of my many reference materials, one is a hard back book by, "Edwards & Carwile" a book on carnival glass, the "STANDARD ENCYCLOPEDIA of CARNIVAL GLASS 7th EDITION, on page #294;   I've taken numerous (all) photos outside in the natural daylight in different backgrounds in numerous angles & positions to show pattern, COLOR, condition, carnival glass iridescence, & size hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can E-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.   When using a cell phone or mobile device please click on "see full description" to see more photos and measurements;   Insurance is bought at the USPS at the time of shipment to you, the cost is $8.25 for the shipping and $1.75 for the insurance, ANY OVER PAID SHIPPING COST WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU THE BUYER;   All stickers on MY Northwood amethyst carnival glass  "RASPBERRY"  handled milk pitcher sent to you must remain on MY Northwood amethyst carnival glass  "RASPBERRY"  handled milk pitcher for any glass return, NO exceptions!         Inventory #906Z                 1/25/2019             Bldg lower level back wall shelving.             Please read my BIO on my NEW web site.           Will ship International mail when Buyer request shipping cost thru EBAY.
