Transilvania Romania occupation of Hungary two proofs in silver and gold used. Gold colour of overprint is rather brown, but silver is fresh and bright.

Extremely rare stamps. I bought these particular ones in the second half of the 1980s from prof. Jan Wimmer, (born 1926 - died 2016, an outstanding military historian and philatelist) who had these stamps along with others from Western Hungary and New Romania (I bought the entire collection) from around 1945. So for the last 80 years only two people have been owners of this series. Other stamps of Western Hungary that I sell here are also from this collection...
