VTG Wood Firkin Sugar Bucket Hand Painted Bird Folk Primitive Farmhouse Rustic

In the style of Pennsylvania Dutch primitives, this hand painted wood bucket has a nice warm brown finish from age. The red painted birds and green floral details are quite vivid for the time period estimated to be from the 1930's - 1950's. Most likely originally used for flour or sugar, this Shaker style design has the banding with early staples commonly used during the era. No sticky residue or odors and could further be cleaned up if so desired or leave as is. Handle is secure - overall in good condition. Measures about 6 1/2" from top to bottom with the lid and about 6 1/2" diameter.
