NATIVE TO WESTERN CAPE, it is threatened in its natural habitat.

IT HAS GAINED THE ROYAL HORTIICULTURAL SOCIETY’S AWARD OF GARDEN MERIT.

Perfect as an office-plant / indoor plant and  for any succulent collection

You will receive one plant very similar to the one in photos 1-6, in 9 cm pot, a healthy, adult, strong  plant.

This plant is perfect for conservatory or any sunny window & warm, light location. 

It tends to sprout suckers from its sides that develop into new rosettes so plants form large clumps BUT GROWS COMPACT. 

The leaves are short and fat and edged with soft, harmless, white teeth.

BREVIFOLIA  means SHORT-LEAF in Latin.

In November –December it produces a relatively tall ihfloresence with bright red flowers, please see last picture.

This dwarf Aloe is increasingly popular as an ornamental plant for pots and rockery gardens.

Very easy to grow, as it does not want from you much time and attention.

Good plant for beginners and people who travel much or forget to water their plants :)

Never over water !

It requires only moderate watering and should not be kept perpetually damp.

Keep in a warm, light/ sunny position and dry, colder and darker in the winter.

In summer it can stay outside without any problem until  Autumn, it should be planted in a reasonably sunny position, in well-drained soil.
