A brass case with a front bevel glass window, an enameled porcelain dial with blued steel spaded hands, alarm subsidiary dial with pointer - face/glass and hands are in excellent condition. A good 8 day movement with alarm function, operating with a quality French platform escapement and working fine.

A possible maker of this type of alarm clock is Freres Couaillet c1880/90 Very well made timepiece, hardly a millimeter to spare inside this case.
