These are new, premium flight stands. Made in the USA.
Easily move your aircraft, spaceships or flying figures around your miniature game boards.
The telescoping feature permits a wide variation of altitudes to be displayed.
Flight stands extend from ~5 in ( ~13 cm) to ~25.5 in (~65 cm).
The telescoping section consists of 7 segments. These stands DO NOT contain 9 sections and thus are not compatible with Canvas Eagles.
The black bases are 2.5 in (~6.3 cm) in diameter.
The stands have 2 each 2 oz (62 g) chrome plated steel counterweights at the bottom.
The stands have a strong magnet at the top to adhere to magnets or steel attached to the bottom of your miniatures. The stands also have a good counter weight on the bottom to prevent the miniatures from tipping over and a very large black rubber bottom base.
All stands include an additional rare earth magnet (stored and shipped at the top of the stand) to assist in mounting aircraft or spaceships. If you don't need an additional magnet, consider leaving it in place to increase the magnetic field of the stand.
Also included are 3 small metal squares (6mm x 6mm) are included that you can place between the magnet on your miniature and the magnet at the top of the flight stand to help resolve polarity issues.
Finally, three 16mm round metal plates are are included that you can attach to the bottom of your miniatures at the balance point if you do not already have a magnet mounting system on your planes or ships.
For information, the green C-54 Skymaster in my photos is solid metal and weighs 83 grams and the silver B-47 Stratojet is solid metal and weighs 67 grams. They both work well on a super stand telescoped out 2 or 3 sections while flying level. I took my time mounting the magnets on the bottom of the planes and got them at the correct balance point.
The stands are shipped in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope (3 stands in a box)
Multiple packs of 3 stands will be combined into a single shipment if purchased at the same time. These stands have a good sized counterweight at the bottom and groups of them add up in weight quickly. This is really the only way to ship them economically.
They are great for aircraft and space ship miniature war games including Check your 6, Team Yankee, Flames of War, Wings of Glory, Star Wars X-Wing, Star Wars Armada, Star Trek Attack Wing, Aerodrome, Phantoms, Full Thrust, Battlefleet Gothic, Fleet Commander, Firestorm Armada and other air or space miniature games.
The stands will work well with large space ships, helicopters and bomber or transport aircraft from GHQ, Raiden, Fantasy Flight Games, NavWar, Picoarmor, WizKids, 3d Printed ships from Shapeways, and other miniatures if magnets or metal squares are attached to the underside of the aircraft.
The stands also support flying characters and monsters in Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), Warhammer 40K, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Kings of War, Warcry, and Marvel Crisis Protocol miniature games. The smallest height you can achieve for a character mounted on top of one of these stands is 5 inches.

The stands are designed to work with large size and weight 6mm, 1/285th scale, or 1/600 scale aircraft, helicopters or space ships.
