Presented is a fine American Arts & Crafts sterling silver server. This piece is done in a style very similar to that of Georg Jensen or Poul Petersen, particularly Jensen's popular Blossom pattern. The end of the handle loops under itself and ends in a stylized blossom-like design. This is a wonderful hand wrought piece, with the marks of hand hammering still visible in the finish of the blade. The front of the handle has a monogram of M in Gothic script, though this could easily be removed, as the silver is quite thick.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The piece is stamped RLF as well as sterling.
This piece is about 9 7/8 inches long.
