Rare Antique Royal Worcester Cobalt & Gold Bone China, Pattern #8235. This unnamed pattern is similar to Royal Worcester's "Regency Blue" pattern. I have also seen this rare pattern #8235 in a Maroon band, instead of Cobalt here.

Pattern Description:
Cobalt Blue Rings On White with Gold Rings and Gold & Brown decor, Smooth, Coupe, Gold Trim. Made in England.

Maker's Mark:
According to the Museum of Royal Worcester's website: "
The standard printed Royal Worcester factory marks, included the number 51 in the centre that refers to the year 1751 when the Worcester Porcelain Company was founded by Dr John Wall. The mark can appear in any colour, and on a variety of materials. The marks almost always included a code to indicate the year of manufacture. Between 1862 and 1875 specific indications of the year of manufacture are rare but may sometimes be found in the form of the last two figures of the date, eg 75 for 1875, printed below the standard mark. From 1867 a letter system was also used to indicate the year of manufacture. From 1876 the crown sits down to fit the circle. [Emphasis Added]Based on my examination of these pieces, it does not appear that a date is indicated with these marks. Although the number "77" is just below the mark, I do not believe this to be a date indicator as the Crown does not 'sit down to fit the circle', which means these pieces would have been manufactured prior to 1876.  I
