For sale is a really nice plate made by KPM in the early 20th century . It is in their Neuzierat design. The dish is hand painted with a superb flower design in the center of three anemones (I think) with a rose flower bud, some other smaller flowers and some leaves - a combination that is just amazing! The Weichmalerei colors KPM used during this period are among the best ever! The rim itself is painted with gold trim on a raised design. The plate is in perfect condition which is nice since it is over 100 years old now :) The piece is 8.625 inches in diameter and 1 inch tall. The plate is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb mark, two painter's and / or gilder's marks and the usual impressed marks of this period as shown. 20thC antique German Germany Jugendstil
