German 1936 Olympics --- The paper dustjacket is in great condition; the book is in overall good condition with slight yellowing. Profusely illustrated with B & W and some color images.

Very rare to find this book with dust cover intact! All photos inside are accounted for, none missing. Most importantly, the fold out colored map on the back is completely intact, no rips or tears!

I’ve seen other copies of this book, some in bad shape, selling for thousands.

This book is from my own collection, my grandfather brought it over from Germany in the 1940s. It was given to me when he died and I have had it since the 1980s.

Note: Book has historic and cultural value but also disturbing text and imagery that glorifies Nazi ideology, racism, and hatred of Jewish people and others. The 1936 Olympics are remembered for the Nazi propaganda, and unfortunately, accepted as an accurate portrayal of the truly murderous and destructive regime.
