Bought this for use with a D200 and to couple for astrophotography on a D5500. The lens is excellent, but I have a much more compact kit as well as dedicated astro gear, so no longer have a use for it.

Provides beautiful images (test shots included in the photos). Work with any Nikon with a screw drive AF system, or manual focus on all others. I've used on both a D200 and D5500 (manual only) and it performs well on both.

The only quirk is the broken aperture switch. Switching from on camera aperture to the aperture ring on the lens either requires a sharp fingernail or something easy to poke it. It's not a bother as I set aperture through the command dials on the camera as 99% of others do as well, I've not yet had a need to switch to the aperture ring.
