For sale is a plate made by Meissen in the mid 19th century . It has the relief molded rim with floral designs and three different designs with a piece painted in blue on the rim a nice blue border between the rim and the bowl part and one of the best flower paintings I have seen by Meissen in the center. The plate is in perfect condition and marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords as well as an impressed 46. Oddly it is with two lines across the swords so a second quality for such a superb plate. I suspect it is so because of a stray red mark on the rim at about 4 o'clock and a small chip on the back of the rim that has been glazed over and is from the making! The plate is 10.5 inches in diameter and 1.75 inches tall so rather large. 19thC Blumenteller
