There is some rust on the globe and stand. It could be removed or cleaned up but I wanted to leave it in the original condition.


There also three I-2” size dents I put pictures in the listing but it is really difficult to get pictures of them to show.


The J. Chein Company's vintage lunar globe is a tin globe that displays the moon's surface and spacecraft landing sites. It has a 9-inch diameter and a white plastic stand. The globe is screen printed with photographic images of the moon and divided by a black and white striped band into the side facing Earth and the "dark" side. The "dark" side is a lighter shade of blue and is not visible from Earth.
