New Jersey born Bruce Springsteen has been rocking America, and the world, since 1973, the year he released his first two studio albums. (They did that a lot those days.) 'The Boss' released TWENTY ONE studio albums through the years, with his last released in late 2022 (and called 'Only the Strong Survive'). He is currently on a world tour with the E Street Band that ends in late November of this year, in Vancouver. (Now that would be a great show to attend!)

In 1975, soon to be FIFTY years ago, Springsteen released his third studio album, and named 'Born to Run'. It did really well, and made him a star! The title track is still one of his biggest hits, and other standout songs on the album include "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out" and "Jungleland". I like "Thunder Road" a lot, as well. It's a really great early Springsteen album!

In 2005, they released the 30th anniversary remaster in a special box set, and the deluxe edition! What makes it deluxe, you ask? They add TWO DVDs and the orginal CD remastered! The first DVD is a complete show from 1975, recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in London. Digitally restored. In stereo and surround sound! The second DVD is a really cool 'making of' documentary that's an hour and a half long. And the original album, remastered using today's technology!

All in a nice long box with a 48 page booklet. The discs have a few very light surface marks on them. Nothing bad, or that will affect play. The box itself is in great shape. There's a little shelf-wear on one or two spots on the box cover, but overall in pretty good shape. And you KNOW I'm not done...

I'll also add the DualDisc version of Bruce's 2005 album titled 'Devils & Dust'! This is the TWO sided CD/DVD combo (in a special DualDisc case), that includes the entire album in 5.1 surround sound, filmed performances of five tracks from this album, and extensive and personal introductions to the tracks from The Boss himself! A great addition to the 'Born to Run' box set, and now you get Bruce from '75, as well as Bruce from '05!
