Vintage tobacco/cigarette silk - CANADA SOLDIER #40, 9TH BATTERY FIELD ARTILLERY, TORONTO. These were made in the early 1900s, and were given away with the purchase of tobacco products at the time. Condition is nice with edge fraying...see photos for condition. Measures apx. 2 x 3 1/8 inches. These "silks" can be collected as is, or used to recreate a vintage-style crazy quilt.
