  • Zustand: Akzeptabler Zustand. Auf dem gesamten Blatt sind Stockflecken sichtbar. Die rechte untere Blattecke weist einen schwachen Flüssigkeitsfleck auf. Im Druck einzelne haarfeine Auslassungen. Oben mittig kleiner blasser Flüssigkeitsfleck und feine druckbedingte Quetschfalte.

  • Description: The engraving illustrates an ancient landscape of ruins in the centre of Pompeii, harmoniously embedded in a mountainous environment. Crumbling columns and architectural elements dominate the picture, interspersed with a few figures that emphasise the former splendour.

  • Condition: Rather good condition. Foxing is visible on the entire sheet. The lower right corner of the sheet has a faint liquid stain. Individual hairline omissions in the print. Small pale liquid stain and fine crease due to printing at top centre.
