For sale is a figure of Lalage made by Nymphenburg in the late 19th or very early 20th century when they were first remade after the original 18th century models. She is one of the commedia dell'arte figurines - one of the greatest set of figurines ever designed by the famous Bustelli who made the best porcelain figurines ever! Superbly modeled with a nice pose and lots of detail left in the white (pure white not off white as the photos show - the camera is giving me a tough time again) to show it off perfectly! She is wearing a corset and a nice skirt with a bow around her neck while holding a bowl in her left hand and a spoon in her right - ready to feed the baby monkey that Mezzetino is holding in his arm.
