With Jaguar's original version of this seal having been extinct for many years, Paul's have developed their own seal which is identical to Jaguar's 1976-91 original, and a huge improvement over their worthless attempt [part # BEC17446] on 1992-1996 XJS models.

 To be absolutely clear, this 2-part seal is fitted below the chrome moulding than runs across the bottom of the windshield - it has 3 main functions: firstly, it prevents water from getting under the moulding; secondly, it prevents the chrome moulding from chafing the painted surface of the cowl, and thirdly, as you can see in our pictures, it creates a perfect cosmetic finish between the cowl and the moulding.
