This is a 1958 second pressing of John Coltrane’s Blue Train. Features the Plastylite P or “Ear”, RVG stamped, deep groove all on both sides. Identified as a second pressing by the above indicators as well as the lack of “inc” in the addresses on the label and back cover, the lack of the trademark symbol under the “E” of note on the labels, and the faint splotch on Curtis Fuller’s face on the back cover photo. The vinyl is somewhere in between G+ to VG- condition with many marks and scratches.. I would say, however, that most are fairly superficial and not really feelable. The record does play with background noise throughout, but does not overpower the music often. The cover is in solid VG condition. There is a 1 inch split forming at the top right of the opening, a few marks on the spine and corner rubbing. It has a bow, which could possibly be corrected, but over all presents very well. Please feel free to ask questions on the condition.
