Photo-etching is a process used to make very thin or tiny metal parts.  It is used to make parts that are either too small or too delicate to be made with either the injection moulded or cast resin processes.  Examples of this include buckles on seat belts, scale tool clasps and hinges that actually work, ventilation grills and thin armour plate. This set contains detail parts for upgrading scale plastic models, when selecting your set please make sure it is compatible for your chosen model. When upgrading the model some cutting or corrections may be necessary for parts to fit accurately.   An excellent way to add more detail to your plastic model.
