Their specialty however and they have mastered the art is in synthetic holsters. The make a helluva good one. Not just two pieces of material
sewn or glued together, Mikes Cordura holsters are padded, reinforced, and made with features found in traditional holsters.
Uncle Mike's is an undisputed leader in this category.
This is for a LIKE NEW, lightly used, BLACK Uncle Mike's of Oregon, Sidekick Series VERTICAL SHOULDER HOLSTER.
This one is marked SIZE 3 .
Although I am a leather traditionalist, nothing beats nylon for lightweight, all weather endurance. They are even machine washable. I save the leather for formal and duty wear. When I head out into the brier patch and mud, I grab my nylon rigs.
This is a RIGHT HAND DRAW
Made of firm and tough Cordura nylon with waterproof closed cell padding. It is fully lined and padded and has a closed muzzle. It has a wide flat harness that lies flat under clothing. Your gun rides vertical and high for easy access.
The holster also features a sight pad for extra strength at the top where the rear sights contact the holster and this also holds the holster in a "pocket" shape, making a reholster easier. It has a fully adjustable retention strap, which secures with a strong snap. Both the near and off side CLIP to your belt, so there is no free swinging items here should you have to move quickly.
The harness is an "X" style, with buckles to adjust rake and height on each component side. A 2 way plate allows the harness to slide adust to fit. The offside has Uncle Mike's utility plate. This is a firm plate to which you can mount a flashlight case, ammo carrier, speedloader case, knife case, or whatever you could mount on a belt.

All these well thought out features make for a nice lightweight and strong field holster, and at a reasonable price. If you want a nylon holster, Uncle Mike’s makes one of the best.
This holster fits number of Medium to Large revolvers. This is not because the holster is sloppy, though it is a general cut. It is because of a great feature in the adjustable retention strap and flexibility of the Cordura material.
WHAT IT FITS
The Uncle Mikes catalog lists this holster as being for Medium and Large Double Action Revolvers with 5" to 6" barrel. OR SINGLE ACTION revolvers with a 4 5/8" - 5.5" Barrel.
I have shown it here with my SMITH & WESSON K Frame, N Frame as well as a SAA Colt Clone.
