Up for auction is an Automatic Electric Company chrome pay phone. It’s about 18-1/4” tall, 7” across, and 5-3/4” deep. The dial and handset are both a beige/peach plastic and the handset is made by Stromberg-Carlson. The coin return door is also a beige color. It looks like it’s stuck open and I’m not sure how to fix it. I don’t have any keys for it, so I can’t open it up. It does sound like there’s a small amount of change inside.

The chrome needs polishing and cleaning all over. The handset has wear and scratches on it. The handset cord is dirty and needs cleaning. The rotary turns and stops about 3/4 back to starting position, so it needs a bit of work. I don’t know anything about its working order. Please see the pictures for exactly what you’ll receive.
