An ancient Egyptian double Uraeus measuring approximately 10.5 cms high and 6.5 cms across, a stylized upright form of a cobra, a symbol of sovereignty, royalty, deity and divine authority in ancient Egypt.

The Uraeus is a symbol of the goddess Wadjet. This piece was looked at by a highly respected auction house who suggested it was most likely from the late period 664 - 332 BC,  bronze with evidence of coloured inlays to the front sections.
