For your consideration, we are offering for sale this LAMY 2000 Fountain Pen made from a combination of Makrolon (black polycarbonate) and brushed stainless steel fitted with a 14K medium nib. This fountain pen has been gently used but I have internally cleaned the pen greased the piston, and is now back in great writing condition.

This pen features a hooded rhodium-plated 14k gold nib and uses a piston-filling mechanism to fill from bottled ink. The barrel and cap are in excellent condition and clean. There are absolutely no nicks, chips, cracks, or repairs to this fountain pen. The cap of this fountain pen displays the brushed stainless steel rocker clip with "LAMY" stamped on one side. The cap and barrel are excellent with the cap always securing tightly. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This LAMY 2000 measures 5 1/2" inches in length capped and 6" inches posted.

The LAMY 2000 comes with a fully working piston filler. I have tested the filling unit with water and I have greased the unit. This filling unit works as one would expect and smoothly. This Lamy Piston Filler has water clear ink-view window.

The NIB is Rhodium-plated 14K Gold with the iridium tipping material measuring at .88mm or a "Medium" point when I measured using a digital caliper. This Lamy 2000 will write with a Fine to Broad line ranging from .58mm to .95mm under normal writing pressure when measured with digital calipers. The Nib on this LAMY writes ULTRA-SMOOTH, I cannot emphasize this enough. It is a fantastic smooth writing nib!

This is LAMY's Flagship Fountain Pen in Excellent Condition. It is ready to write with or just add to your writing arsenal collection. Again, a buttery smooth writing nib that will not leave you disappointed!

Please Read Carefully Before Bidding:

I strive to find unique and difficult to find pieces that I believe will capture the attention of collectors. I spend a great deal of time traveling, talking with people, sitting at auctions and waiting in line at estate sales to find these pieces. Some of the items are "farm fresh" and some I have had in my possession for years and time to let others enjoy. Please make sure this item is what you want before bidding. If you would like different pictures or have concerns on damage, on whether it is repainted or repaired ask before bidding. If I can find out, I will. These are antiques so expect them not to be "perfect".

Shipping:  $7.90 Standard Shipping w/Insurance. If you want faster service, please contact me to receive a quote. I will certainly combine shipping if you want to purchase more than one of my item's.
