A beautiful, original, as found Waterman's #7 ripple pen with purple (stiff fine) nib. This pen was found among a dozen or so pens owned by the late Lt. Col. William Allanson, of Fairfax, VA. Col. Allanson had all of his pens contained in white paper envelopes on which he had noted what the envelope contained and where he found his information (there is a pic above of the envelopes that contained this pen and a striped Duofold - the Waterman's envelope will be included with this pen).

This pen (including the nib) is not chipped or cracked. There is minute plating loss on the edge of the clip.

The pen has not been cleaned or modified in any way and is as owned by Col. Allanson, hence, it will need a new sac in order to be ready to write. Otherwise, it is pretty much like it was when the original owner possessed it (unlikely Allanson, since he was only in his 90's, but maybe his mom or dad).

Sold as pictured. Questions will be promptly answered to the best of our ability.

Please check the pics and our feedback. Reasonable offers from collectors who don't have a difficult time finding a moment to leave feedback are welcome and will be promptly and seriously considered.

Thanks!
