VTG Japanese sake cup Sakura Cherry Blossom & Chrysanthemum, gilded, Japan

I am clearing out my late parent's home, and my mother had some treasured antique Asian pieces. This sake cups was hers.

Cup has a beautiful cherry blossom design in the center. This is surrounded by 6 painted panels with 2 different designs: Chrysanthemums alternating with rural homes. 

Cup has blue and white landscape designs on the exterior. Cup says "Made in Japan" on the bottom.

There is a small chip just under the rim. It is barely visible and I found it only by running my fingernail around the whole cup. See last photo.

Some glaze flaws and spots original to the cup. Normal handling wear from the decades.

Cup measures 2.25 inches in diameter x 1 inch tall.
