ITALIAN STATES: Naples & Sicily, 1686 AG-A Carlo II of Spain Silver 1 Tari - Km# 104, 26.8mm, 5.61grams - Sharp Extra Fine specimen with attractive,  mostly gun metal grey surfaces. First A of AG-A is boldly recut and doubled (almost appears to read AAG-A) This is the only example with that recut letter that I have ever seen.

This scarce issue exhibits an incredibly bold &  handsome Roman-esque design...
•Crowned fasces crossed with cornucopia atop of globe with date set into relief at center bottom lower edge - "HIS VICI-ET REGNO" to left & right.
•Crowned shield of minfold arms with order of golden fleece around. Legends surrounding read: "CAROLVS II DG - HISP NEAP REX"
