Isle of Man, Douglas, Falkner's Bazaar, brass token c. 1830s. 22 mm.

This token may have been intended to circulate as a farthing, or it may be an advertising piece. According to Charles Clay, writing in 1865, it dated from circa 1830.

EF+, a superb, lustrous example, much as struck. Very rare and choice, certainly one of the best examples available to commerce.
