McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle 83-0017 c/n 864/C277 was delivered new to 58th TFS/33rd TFW Aug 1, 1984, but transferred to 71st FS (Ironmen)/1st FW at Langley AFB in October 1987. June 11, 2007 during a “Red Flag” exercise in Alaska; 83-0017 collided in midair with an F-16C. The F-15 pilot ejected safely and the F-16C managed to land
