A beautifully,aged,Hofner Congress, from the 1962,recently fitted with a Slimlne, P56,Jazz,Pickup,Volume  and Tone control.The Hofner Compensator tailpiece has been polished down to the Brass in parts and sealed with clear spray to prevent oxidation.

The Headstock carries a set of new tuners and the Hofner,treble Clef,facia.

The Truss Rod Neck is straight,the joint solid,the frets are in good condition,as is the fretboard,with a low action.

The Hardwood Hofner Bridge is adjustable and is linked to an iconic Hofner ,Compensator ,Tailpiece.

The Acoustic Voice has bright treble and deep Bass tones,sounds great through an amplifier,where the Archtop lends resonance to the tone.

A lovely patina,easy to handle,easy to play.
