For sale is what I believe to be an English made mirror from the late 19th century - or better a frame used for a mirror. It is made of some sort of ceramic with a thick glaze. Nicely shaped with lots of detail. The frame is in good condition with some spots of where the glaze must have flaked off that have been covered in white to hide them but they are minor! Some crazing and a little wear as well but overall in good condition! The mirror is a replacement I am sure. The piece looks to have been made by hand as the sides do not match perfectly and machine made pieces would have been a mirror image. It is marked in the back with a pattern number 1968 with a line under it in a purplish type color. The frame is about 12.5 inches tall and 7.75 inches wide. If anyone knows anything about this type of piece and email would be appreciated as always! Keramik Spiegel Rahmen
