This is a great piece of Los Angeles Dodgers and Clayton Kershaw history! This ticket is from Kershaw’s amazing record setting season in 2011! On 5/29/2011 Kershaw threw a complete game shutout against the Marlins. He pitched 9 innings with 10 strikeouts, 2 hits, 1 walks and no runs. He earned his 6th win of the season in this game.
He would go on to finish the season 21-5 with a 2.28 ERA throwing 233 innings with 248 strikeouts. He would win his 1st Cy Young award this season and also win the NL Triple Crown leading in wins, strikeouts, and ERA. He would also win a Gold Glove award along with being selected to his first All Star Team.
This is a great piece for any Clayton Kershaw fan! Kershaw will go down as one of the best pitchers of this generation.
