This elegant vintage early-mid 1960s blouse is as modest as it is flattering. Tag reads “a Leslie Fay original, Deauvicette (R) 100% textured acetate knit”, a double knit of imported acetate yarn textured by Chatillon Milan, Italy . This rare fabric has a deep black color and almost water-like flowing drape quality. The pictures do not do this fabric and depth of color justice. No shoulder pads.

Sweet and fun collar of crème and black striped color, rounded shape which meets in the back. At the center back a long original metal “swift” brand 16” metal zipper separates at bottom to open up blouse. Please not, collar side edges are slightly discolored as seen in photos, but I have not attempted to clean. Some careful attention could have this blouse good as new.

Measurements:

Bust 38”

Waist 36”

Length from back top of collar to bottom hem 17”

Length of sleeve from top outer shoulder to hem at arm 9”

Please note this fabric has some stretch to it.
