This offering is for one (1) very unique exacting reproduction of the first consumer tabletop radio introduced in June of 1945 in Europe by Grundig. This unit was made for one year only on Grundig 50th anniversary. It represents the Grundig Heinzelmann AD-950. Hand assembled polished wood grained cabinet, gold plated metal details, dual band tuning, woven speaker cloth cover, and high-grade electronic AM/FM tuning components providing clear signal reception and excellent sound quality. If you want that post WWII experience this is an exceptional opportunity. At that time reception was by direct air wave not cable or satellite. This unit has very minimal use, great shape, look, texture and sound. The display dial lights up and no tube warming buzzing sound on startup. I am selling as is. CONDITION
This item was minimally used. I wiped it down, looks great, no apparent exterior damage. Reception works like a radio of its time from radio waves (not cable or satellite).
