This uncirculated Honduras 2 Lempira banknote from 2012 measures 156 x 67 mm. Its obverse side bears the national emblem and a portrait of former President Marco Aurelio Soto, a liberal leader responsible for the establishment of the Biblioteca Nacional de Honduras in 1880. The reverse side features a scenic view of Tiger Island and the port city of Amapala where Dr. Sotos government was inaugurated. The note does not contain any security threads nor watermarks.
