Noted by Norman Rockwell as one of his favorite woman artists in a letter to her shown at her exhibition in 2020.


The exhibit of Ellen Pyles work was shown at the Delaware ART Museum in Willianton to which I went. Ellen was married to the   brother of Howard Pyle, the grandfather of American Illustration.


Ellen B. T. Pyles great granddaughter opened the show, Katherine E. Smith who autographed the paperback book show. The book as well as 13 of the 42 covers done for the Saturday Evening Post magazine.
