Blue John Stone is found nowhere in the world but amongst the rocks of Treak Cliff Hill, Castleton, Derbushire
This mineral, a colour banded form of fluorspar, is so beautiful that it has been prized for many hundreds of years.
Vases found amongst the ruins of Pompeii are rumoured to be made from Blue John stone.
This superb ring is size O, US size 7
It has been set with an Aamazing (14mm x 10mm) Blue John cabochon,
the shoulders are highly decorated which compliments the stone beautifully
