Medal was instituted in 1945. KING TRIBHUBAN ASSAM BURMA WAR SILVER MEDAL.

Medal was awarded for service in the Assam-Burma theater during World War II.

I think maximum 8000 medals issued. Nepal supplied 8000 troops to India ( British India on that time ).

Nepalese medals can be really bad quality, this is really good.
