The rare 1965 card has visible signs of wear to include staining and some light creasing.  It measures roughly 5.25" x 4".  Please review the pictures to assist with the condition and content of the card.

The Marhoefer Meatpacking Company was founded in 1901 as the Kuhner Packing Company.  The Marhoefer family would take over in 1945.  Based in Muncie, Indiana, the company would aggressively advertise their sausages and hot dogs in conjunction with the local Indianapolis 500.  These cards were produced as part of the packaging for their products.  The staining seen on this card is not unusual.

This unnumbered card of the 18-card set features Bill Cheesbourg, who was from Tucson, Arizona.  Cheesbourg would make six starts in the Indianapolis 500 with a best finish of tenth in 1958.  Cheesbourg would successfully bump his way back into the Indy 500 field three separate times, which still stands as a race record.

Please review the other racing items I have listed at the eBay store, The Checkered Past.  I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost.  Thanks!
