A studio pottery butter dish with domed cover. Decorated with a shiny and matte glaze and hand incised with "Butter".

Both the base and cover is impressed with a GS monogram for the artist pottery Guy Sydenham and from his Green Island period.

Impressed GS inside the dome and on the underside of the base.

Condition -

NO damages but several firing faults from the making of the pottery.

Several shrinkage lines on the cover and rim - see pictures.
Base fine.

Vintage item with some but minimal evidence of use.
