For sale is a significant piece of American history - a framed, matted 1864 Confederate States of America (CSA) Treasury Loan Bond, complete with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). This original CSA bond, numbered 8654, was issued on March 1, 1864, under an act authorized by the Confederate Congress on February 17, 1864. Given to me from my graduation from college, it is now time for it to find a new home where it will be displayed and appreciated.

Two notes - there are very minor chips at the bottom of the frame (see images) and the matting that the bond rests on appears to have some minor discoloration caused by a backing frame (see the image with the white arrow).
